Grupo Antolin to build $20m auto component plant

Spanish company Grupo Antolin intends to invest $20m building a plant to produce auto components for car interiors in Leningrad region, regional officials report.

The 10,000-square-meter plant is to be located in the region’s Vsevolozhsk region. In the future the plant’s facilities can be expanded to 15,000 square meters.

Under plans, the plant is to manufacture car ceilings and door panels. In the future, production of window lifts is to be launched, the officials said.

The plant is scheduled to open in 2011.
